Leoni is the 23 year old daughter of Bournemouth-based Chocolatier and entrepreneur Gerry Wilton, owner of Chocolate Delight and The Chocolate Boutique Hotel.
I grew up surrounded by chocolate and have been helping out at chocolate events since my early teens. After leaving school I studied catering and went on to work in hospitality, but as the family business developed I just became more and more involved in it, accompanying Dad to chocolate team building events, making chocolates for hotel guests and eventually mastering the art of chocolate tempering.
I’ve always loved the chocolate events - and taking over the original chocolate fountains business seemed a natural next step.

Chocolate Delight and the Chocolate Boutique Hotel
Founded by Gerry in 2004, Chocolate Delight was the second company to own a commercial chocolate fountain in the UK. Quickly establishing itself as the market leader in chocolate fountains, Chocolate Delight’s products and services became hugely popular with corporations, event organisers and celebrities; a thriving business in fountain sales to companies across the UK and abroad soon followed.
In 2005, Gerry created the first of his Chocolate Workshops which have since developed into weekly events operating around the country. The success of the workshops was followed by Chocolate Teambuild - chocolate-based team building events, which has seen Chocolate Delight work with multi-national companies in Spain, France, Hong Kong and Singapore. The feedback has been incredible with participants finding the experience ‘tremendously exciting’ and ‘innovative’.
With Chocolate Delight taking the world by storm, Gerry took the opportunity to expand and bought a beautiful but run down 19th Century Grade II listed hotel in Bournemouth. Christmas 2007 saw the renovation of the building the Wilton family now runs as The Chocolate Boutique Hotel - the only chocolate themed hotel in the world.
Chocolate Delight continues to innovate and has recently introduced new ideas to the world of chocolate with the introduction of The Big Chocolate Picture and The Truffle Express. Most recently, Gerry has been introducing the concept of chocolate events to the world of international travel and is currently offering workshops to passengers on board P&O and Fred Olsen Cruises.
